The following image is one that I have been working on with the intention of making it a rock show poster. To date I have no band in mind for use with this poster or specific show. With that being said, this poster is available to use by a band that has an upcoming show. I will keep this up and allow any local or national talent to submit why they feel they should be the lucky one to use it. I would like to get the final product screen printed to be used at the show for whoever is chosen for this image. If you're not in a band and know a band that this may work for, let me know. I will eventually announce who the winner was and post the final product here. Good Luck.

AB Special II

Once upon a time I decided to make a drum. I do not play drums, however have wanted to since I was a kid. One day I was inspired by a drum I saw online and decided to make one. The first drum I ever made was out of a car wheel. I had to machine it down and fabricated spacers to fit all of the pieces together. After a two tone paint scheme and some assembly it was done. That drum ended up in the hands of a friend of mine. After talking one night about what he would want in a drum he stated he played a drum at a festival that was really thick and had a great punchy tone. So I said, I think I can make that. A few months of time go by and I managed to get a shell together that ended up being 1 and a half inches thick. It was constructed of maple and I stained it a transparent black. I added slingerland style vintage lugs and cast hoops to finish it off. That drum is the drum pictured here.

Recently I have gotten back into graphic design and illustration. This is a CD cover for the band LORD and their second CD release entitled "Chief". The first image shows the line drawing and the second is the final image with color and text.
